A reconditioned stairlift starts life as one of our own. When a customer no longer needs their lift, we buy it back, bring it to our workshop and give it a full service. Every part is checked, the lift is tested, and it is cleaned thoroughly before it goes into another home. Most come out looking as good as new, and nothing leaves until it is ready.
That is why a reconditioned lift is such good value for a Belfast home. You get good quality equipment that has been looked after by the company that knows it best, at a far more reasonable price than a new chair.
Stairlift Solutions is a local family business, working from our office in Newtownards, Co. Down. Our team handles:
Reconditioned lifts are only part of the picture. We also offer brand-new and ex-rental lifts, in straight and curved designs, for use indoors or outdoors, so there is always another option if a reconditioned model is not right for your stairs.
To find out, book a FREE home survey. An experienced member of our team comes out to you, looks at the staircase, and explains the findings in plain terms so you can weigh up each choice.
Whichever lift you settle on, a full warranty comes with it, and our customer care line is open 24/7 if you ever need help. Phone 02891 882249 to ask about the reconditioned lifts we have ready for Belfast.
Belfast districts and neighbouring areas we fit lifts in: Belfast, Ballyhackamore, Belmont, Cregagh, Rosetta, Newtownbreda, Cherryvalley, Stormont, Cavehill, Antrim Road, Falls, Whiterock, Ligoniel, Balmoral, Ballysillan.
Brooks Slimline Stairlifts
We often recondition the Brooks Slimline because it is built to last and very reliable. It moves off and comes to rest gently, works from simple remote controls, and its DC power packs recharge by themselves each time a journey finishes.
Brooks 180 Curved Stairlifts
Made by Brooks especially for curved stairs, the 180 can sit on either the inside or the outside of the curve. You still get the reliability and the features that Brooks build into their straight lifts.
HomeGlide Stairlifts
HomeGlide keeps things simple. This straight stairlift has the basic features you need, a robust build and a very competitive price. Installation is quick, travel is smooth and quiet, and safety comes first. We supply and fit it across Belfast.
HomeGlide Extra Stairlifts
Choose the HomeGlide Extra when you want more options and a touch of luxury on straight stairs. You decide on the fabric and colour, and its compact, elegant chair runs on an aluminium rail that we install cleanly and discreetly, with specialist advice before we start.
Flow X Curved Stairlifts
The Flow X from ThyssenKrupp replaced the award-winning Flow 2A and ranks among the leading stairlifts worldwide. Built with German engineering and the latest technology, it uses a single rail that can be fitted to nearly any staircase, at home or in a business.
Bespoke Synergy
Detailed design and simple controls make the Bespoke Synergy easy to live with. The chair is compact, several features are hidden away, and the rail is one of the slimmest anywhere in the world, so it stays unobtrusive on straight stairs.
Bespoke Infinity
For curved stairs, the Bespoke Infinity offers British quality and comfort and lets you live independently with very little help. A 2-year parts warranty is included as standard, and our team gives expert advice and carries out the installation.
Acorn Stairlifts
Acorn is a familiar name and one of the makes we see most often as a reconditioned lift. Its simple design is easy to use and straightforward to maintain, and the quality is top class.
Reconditioned Stairlifts
Because we buy back our own lifts, we keep a full range of reconditioned straight stairlifts. Before refitting, each one is serviced in full, then checked, tested and given a thorough clean, so most are hard to tell from new.
Prices reflect age, condition and any warranty, starting from £950 installed.
Rental Stairlifts
Perhaps you are coming home from hospital, or a relative is staying for a few months. If the need is short term, our rental scheme runs for 6 or 12 months, and once the term is over you simply return the lift.
Outdoor Stairlifts
The outdoor lift we fit is a Brooks, and it behaves just like the indoor model. Its outdoor components sit under a durable plastic cover that shields it from rain, snow, heat and light, making it suitable for external straight flights at homes and businesses.
Extended Warranties
Our lifts are very reliable, yet an extended warranty adds real peace of mind by paying for breakdowns and unforeseen repairs. Good after-sales care is part of what we do, and our team can be reached 24/7.
Mobility Scooters
We carry a wide range of mobility scooters from Sterling, Invacare, Supascoota and other makers. Call our experts and they will help you find a scooter that suits the way you get around.
Riser Recliners
Royams riser recliners come from a British family firm with almost 40 years of experience and a personalised service. Pick your fabric and frame in Petite, Standard or Kingsize, with the Patented Lift and a battery backup. The motor and mechanisms carry a 5-year guarantee. High seat chairs too, delivered in Belfast.
Rollators
Lightweight Coopers rollators bring together quality, safety, comfort and design, giving you steady support whether you are walking round the house or out to the shops. Several models, sizes and colours are on offer, and we bring yours to your door.
Manual Wheelchairs
BREEZY standard manual wheelchairs are known for quality, dependability and easy operation. Frames fold and come in steel or aluminium, and every chair is tested so the ride is stable.
Powered Wheelchairs
An electric wheelchair can give you back your independence indoors and outdoors. These models combine strong performance with good manoeuvrability, and you can choose the seating system, drive base and expandable controls so the chair is set up to suit you.
Ramps
Our portable access ramps are made for everyday use and suit most budgets. Made from anodised aluminium, carbon fibre, plastic or rubber, each one is designed for maximum safety and load with minimum weight.
Bathroom Aids
With Coopers bathroom aids you can bathe or shower safely and independently. Built-in safety features include textured surfaces that you can grip with wet hands and locking mechanisms that keep things steady.
Toilet Aids
The Coopers range of toileting and continence aids is full of practical features. Small changes in the bathroom can make a big difference, and these aids are designed to help you keep your independence at home.

Each one is fully serviced, checked, tested and cleaned. Most look as good as new by the time they reach your home.
You get good quality equipment for much less than a new lift, with prices from £950 installed depending on age, condition and any warranty.
Our reconditioned range is made up of straight stairlifts. For stairs with a bend we can fit a curved model such as the Brooks 180 or the Bespoke Infinity.
